2013 Official UNM Holiday Ornament University Arena "The Pit"

The University of New Mexico's sixth collectible holiday ornament celebrates University Arena, "The Pit." In 1999 Sports Illustrated listed the Top Twenty Sporting Venues of the Century, and The Pit came in 13th, ahead of Notre Dame Stadium, and the Rose Bowl. The painting of The Pit and the ornate frame design are by the New Mexico artist Jana Fothergill. Proceeds fron the university's official holiday ornament benefit the UNM-Parent Association Scholarship Fund.
